PORTUGAL TOURIST AND BUSINESS VISA! APPLY NOW WITH US

1) Passport with UK visa in, both valid for at least 3 months beyond your trip. If your UK visa is in the old passport please provide both old and new passports (there is no need to transfer a stamp into a new passport).


2) 1 passport-size colour photograph on WHITE background; must be different from photos on any old visas.

4) Tickets. Internet print-outs are accepted. If you are travelling to more than one Schengen country then Portugal must be your "longest stay".

5) Proof of Accomodation:
* If staying at a hotel: hotel booking in Portugal. Internet print-outs are accepted.

* If staying with friends/family: Letter from the host; copy of the host'S passport; copy of utility bill with the address in Portugal. All can be scanned & emailed.

* If renting a villa: Letter from the company confirming rent. Or letter from the villa's owner; copy of the host's passport and a copy of a utility bill with the address in Portugal. All can be scanned and emailed.

6) Travel Insurance stating area and expenses covered. We can provide a travel insurance at a cost of £20 multi annual travel insurance NB: If insurance provided with your bank account - ask your bank for a NEW original letter confirming cover (letter DATED NO OLDER than 1 MONTH, on bank's headed paper).

7) Original POSTAL bank statement with ALL pages, dated no older than 1 month, with your name and address; with £300-500 on it.Statements printed at a branch do not substitute proper postal statements!

Please NO overdrawn statements however high your limit or salary is.

* If last original statement is older than 1 month please send it plus a 'Temporary Statement' with up-to-date balance from the same account. This can be done instantly at your bank or internet banking.

* Send BOTH old 'postal' statement AND 'Temporary Statement'!!! Just a 'Temporary Statement' or on-line statement on its own is NOT accepted!

8) If you have no bank statement or receive on-line statements: original EURO traveller's cheques €50 per day of stay (per person). 

9) For employed: Letter from Employer (no older than 1 month) on headed paper. Must confirm you are employed by that company, your job title. 

10) If you are not working and supported by a spouse: spouse's employment letter (as p.9), spouse's bank statement (as p.7); original spouse's passport and original marriage certificate. If not in English it must be translated. 

11) For students: Letter from College/University confirming attendance. Letter must be: no older than 1 month; on headed paper; stating your course and dates of graduation.

12) For self-employed: Letter (no older than 1 month on headed paper) from accountant or solicitor confirming you are self-employed, business name and type of business.

13) For spouses of UK/Irish citizens: spouse's original UK/Irish passport and original marriage certificate. If not in English/Portuguese must be officially translated.

14) For spouses of Portuguese citizens. We can assist ONLY if your marriage has been registered with Portuguese Consulate (in person). Once registered, for a visa we would need spouse's original Portuguese passport, marriage certificate and Certidao/Assento de Casamento issued by the "Conservatoria" in Portugal or by Portuguese Consulate anywhere in the world.

15) For spouses of other EU citizens (those who are married to German, Polish etc). We can assist with a Portuguese Schengen visa ONLY if your marriage has been registered with a respective Consulate of your spouse. For instance, if you are South African married to a Polish citizen - you have to first register your marriage with Polish Consulate in London and only then we can apply for a visa at Portuguese Consulate. You would need to present a document of registration of your marriage. Important! This rule applies to all, whether you got married in the UK or in South Africa or elsewhere.

Once registered, for a visa we would need spouse's original passport, marriage certificate and a document from an Embassy of your EU spouse, confirming your marriage has been registered with that Embassy.

16) If travelling on business/conference: Business Invitation stating your name, company name, purpose of the trip, dates and contacts of the inviting organisation. If the company is in Portugal - fax is acceptable. If the company is in the UK (such as a conference organiser) - original postal letter. Please no emails.

17) Payment for £149. If you are married to a UK/Portuguese/EU citizen - £89. Cash or cheque accepted.

18) Pre-paid Special Delivery envelope (to return your documents) from any Post Office or add £7.

19) Please bring your documents to our office or post by secure Special Delivery from any Post Office or by a courier

20) Please note - Your UK address must be in one of these counties: Greater London, Avon, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Channel Islands, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Essex, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Milton Keynes, Norfolk, Oxfordshire, Somerset, Suffolk, Surrey, Sussex, Wiltshire. If your county is not listed  then we cannot apply and you have to apply in Manchester in person.

We cannot apply for certain nationalities like (Pakistani, Nigerian, Filipino), etc..
